An Idyllic Country Pub serving freshly prepared and locally sourced homemade food accompanied by great beers, wines, spirits with a side order of friendly staff.
The Chequers Inn has been under new ownership since March 2012 where we have tastefully restored the pub to create a relaxing and cosy atmosphere.
The Menu has been redesigned to serve quality ‘pub grub’ with a contemporary twist alongside a relaxed fine dining offering.We work on simple principles:
- All our food is locally sourced (where possible) and freshly made
- We want our customers to feel valued everytime they visit us
- We aim to be the best in everything we do; If it’s not good enough for us, we don’t expect it to be good enough for you.
